Weather in Upper Country
and Heavy to Very
Heavy Rains in South

The active
low-pressure cell over the lower South and the lower
Andaman Sea. Meanwhile, the rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over the
Gulf and the South with and isolated heavy to very rains are also possible in
the South. People should beware of the severe condition that may causes flash
flood and overflows, especially along the foothills near the waterways and
lowlands.
Affected areas
are as followings:
4 December
2022
South: Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat
Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat,
Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
The moderated wind forces the waves 2-3 meters
high in the lower Gulf, above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should
proceed with caution and small boat in the lower Gulf keep ashore
until 4 Dec.
