At 4.00 p.m. on 1 November 2022, severe tropical storm NALGAE over the upper South China Sea or at latitude 19.3 degrees north and longitude 116.0 degrees east. With sustained wind about 110 km/hr, the storm is moving north. It is forecast to move to the coastline of Guangdong, China by 3 November 2022. Meanwhile, another moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to cover upper Thailand and the South China Sea will force the storm to decline rapidly with no affect to Thailand.
This advisory is in effect on 1 November 2022, at 5.00 p.m.
