The strong high-pressure system from China which covers the upper Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening with an increase in temperature and morning light fog in the upper country. Cold is likely in the North and the Northeast while cool to cold is likely in the rest regions. Very cold on the mountaintop. People in the upper country should be careful of their health due to cold weather and beware of fire due to dry air, all transport take more caution in poor visibility.
The strong northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf, the South, and the Andaman Sea is weakening with isolated thundershower in the lower South. The weakening winds and waves in the Gulf are likely about 2 meters high and above 2 meters in thundershower areas. In the Andaman Sea, the waves have 1-2 meters high, 2-3 meters high offshore and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in these regions should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area. Small boats in the Andaman Sea keep ashore lasting 14 Jan.
