The moderated southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the low-pressure cell covers upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin. Thundershowers with gusty wind and hot during the day are likely in the country. Isolated heavy rain are likely in
the Northeast and the Southwest regions. People should beware of severe conditions and keep healthy due to the weather is changing.
In the Andaman Sea, the waves are 1–2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
In addition, during 27–30 May, the moderated southwest monsoon which prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is stronger while the low pressure cell over the coastal area of middle Vietnam is expected to move pass the country to the gulf of Mataban. More rain are likely over the country with isolated heavy to very heavy rains. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf will strengthen with 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers in the Andaman Sea. The wave in the Gulf are 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
