ร่องมรสุมพาดผ่านภาคใต้ตอนบน ประกอบกับมีหย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำกำลังแรงปกคลุมอ่าวไทยตอนบนและภาควันออก ทำให้ภาคตะวันออก อ่าวไทย ภาคใต้ และทะเลอันดามัน มีฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากบางแห่ง

The monsoon trough lies across the upper South, and the active low-pressure cell covers the upper Gulf of Thailand and the East. This leads to heavy to very heavy rains in some of the Gulf, the East, the South and the Andaman Sea.
The stronger winds force the waves in the lower Gulf up to 2-3 meters high and in thundershowers more than 3 meters high. The lower Andaman Sea has waves about 2 meters high and in thundershowers above 2 meters high. All ships proceed with caution, and small boats in the lower Gulf keep ashore.
