The monsoon trough lie across the upper North and the upper Northeast of Thailand. While the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf. Continueous rains will be likely over the country with isolated heavy rains forecast for the North, the upper Northeast, the East and the South (west coast) regions. People in risk area including lowland should brace for the severe conditions that may cause flash flood and water runoff. The winds waves are likely 1-2 meters high in the Andaman Sea and above 2 meters high in thundershower areas. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Tropical storm “PAILU”covers the North the Philippines. It will moving pass the South of Taiwan today(24 Aug 2019 ) to eastern part of China tomorrow(25 Aug 2019). During 23 – 24, monsoon trough lies across the upper North to the low-pressure in the upper Vietnam. Meanwile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the upper Gulf. Thundershowers are likely over the country with isolated heavy rain in the North, the Northeast, the East and the South. The wind and waves are expected 1 - 2 meters high over the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf and about 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 25 - 29 Aug 2019, the monsoon trough will move to lie across the North and the upper Northeast including the southwest monsoon will strengthen. Thundershowers remains over the whole country while more rains are likely in the South (west coast). The moderate wind waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershower areas.
