01 May 2026Another high-pressure system from China extends to the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea while hot to very hot weather occurs over the upper country. Outbreak of summer storms are possible following with thunderstorm, gusty wind, hail and heavy rains including lightning strikes in some areas of the upper country. People should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should prevent for crop damage and animals danger. People in the upper country should keep healthy due to variable weathers The easterly and southeasterly winds prevail over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers in the South.

Scattered thunderstorms with gust, hail and isolated heavy rain in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 25–28 °C. Maximum temperature 38–40 °C. Southerly winds 10–15 km/hr.
Eastern
Day hot. Scattered thunderstorms with gust and hail mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25–28 °C. Maximum temperature 33–38 °C. Southeasterly winds 15–30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershower.
Southern (East Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Songkhla, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23–27 °C. Maximum temperature 33–39 °C. Southeasterly winds 15–30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershower.
Southern (West Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phang Nga, Krabi and Satun. Minimum temperature 24–27 °C. Maximum temperature 35–37 °C. Easterly winds 10–30 km/ hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershower.
