Synoptic Situation
31 July 2026The weakening southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf with isolated heavy to very heavy rains. The moderate winds force the waves in the upper Andaman Sea expected to be about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, the waves are expected to be 1–2 meters high offshore and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
