16 December 2025The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated heavy rains in the lower South. The rather strong wind forces the waves in the lower Gulf up to be 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf, the waves are expected about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the waves are expected 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the lower Gulf keep ashore for one more day.
