7 - 13 Dec 2025During 8 – 10 Dec, another moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to the upper country with decrease in temperatures and strong winds with cool to cold weather. 2 - 4 °C drop in temperature is likely in the North and the Northeast while 1 - 3 °C drop is likely in the Cental and the East. During 11 – 13 Dec, the moderate high-pressure system which covers the upper country will weaken with increase in temperatures. During 10 – 13 Dec, the eastery wind will prevails across the Central, and the East while the westerly trough will cover the North and the upper Northeast during 12 – 13 Dec. thundershowers with heavy rains and gustly in some areas. For the South, during 7 – 10 Dec, the northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers. The wind and waves in the lower Gulf are likely about 2 meters and above 2 meters in the thundershowers. During 11 – 13 Dec, more rain and isolated heavy rain are likely in the upper South due to the easterely wind prevails over the Gulf and the South. The wind and waves in the Gulf are 1 - 2 meters high and above 2 meters in the thundershowers. In addtion, an active low-pressure cell over southern of the Phillipines is expected to intensify. It is likely to move into the middle South China Sea during 7 – 8 Dec. During 10 – 11 Dec, this storm is expected to move near coast of southern Vietnam. This Storm is forecast to downgrade rapidly due to the high pressure system cover Vietnam and the South China Sea.
Caution
People in the upper country and the upper South should keep healthy due to variable weathers throughout the period. During 11 – 13 Dec, farmer should prevent for crop's damage and people should beware of fire due to dry air. People in Thailand should beware of thundershower, accumulated rain and gustly wind. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
