Weather Outlook During 24 – 30 Oct 2025During 24 – 26 Oct, the moderate monsoon trough lying across the South is while the northeast monsoon prevails over the upper Gulf, the upper South and the upper Andaman Sea. Isolated heavy to very heavy rains are in the South. The moderate wind and waves in the upper Gulf and the offshore of upper Andaman Sea are expected 1 - 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Gulf and the lower Andaman Sea, the waves are expected about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 27 – 30 Oct, the monsoon trough lying across the middle South and the northeast monsoon prevailing over the upper Gulf, the upper South and the upper Andaman Sea will weaken. Less rais but isolated heavy rains are still present in the South. The wind and waves in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea are expected about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 24 – 27 Oct, the moderate high-pressure system from China covering upper Thailand will weaken. An increase in temperature by 1 – 3 °C and isolated light rains are likely in upper Thailand while morning cool is in the North and the Northeast regions. During 28 – 30 Oct, the low pressure cell over the South China Sea will move to the lower Vietnam with isolated thundershowers in the lower Northeast, the lower Central and the East.
Caution
People in upper Thailand especially in the North and the Northeast should keep healthy due to changeable weather. During 24 – 26 Oct, people in the South should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships in the Gulf and Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period.
