During 11 - 14 May 2026, thundershowers still present in the upper country because the high-pressure system which cover the Northeast and the South China Sea is weaken while the southwesterly and the southerly winds prevails across the upper country. For the South, during 8 – 11 May 2026, the easterly wind prevail across the South with scattered rains and isolated heavy rains. The winds and waves in the Gulf are expected about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 12 – 14 May 2026, the southwesterly wind prevail across the South with thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. The winds and waves in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea are expected about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Caution
During 8 - 10 May 2026, people in the upper country should beware of thundershowers with gust and severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards.
