The high-pressure system from China extend to the upper North, the upper Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea leads to the monsoon trough move down to lie across the lower North, the Central, the East and the lower Northeast of Thailand. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South, and the Gulf. In addition, the southeasterly wind prevails over the lower Northeast. Continuous rainfall remains in the overall country and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible in some places of the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South regions. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
