The high-pressure system from China extends to the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea while hot to very hot weather occurs over the upper country with thundershowers, gusty wind, hail and isolated heavy rains. People in the upper country should keep healthy due to variable weather and should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should prevent for crop damage and animals danger. The easterly and southeasterly winds prevail over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with thundershowers in the South. People should beware of heavy rain. In addition, during 6-8 May 2026, the easterly wave will move to the lower South with more rain and isolated heavy rain. People in the South should beware of heavy rain.The wind and wave in the Fuld and the Andaman Sea are likely about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershower. All ships should preceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Northeastern
Day hot. Scattered thundershowers with gust and isolated heavy rain in Loei, Nong Khai, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 21-25 °C. Maximum temperature 34-36 °C. Easterly winds 10–20 km/hr.

Day hot to very hot. Scattered thundershowers with gust and hail in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 24–27 °C. Maximum temperature 37–40 °C. Southerly winds 10–20 km/hr.
Eastern
Day hot. Scattered thundershowers with gust, hail and isolated heavy rain in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 23-27 °C. Maximum temperature 34–38 °C. Southeasterly winds 15–30 km/h. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershower.
Southern (East Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 22–27 °C. Maximum temperature 33–38 °C. Southeasterly winds 15–30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershower.
Southern (West Coast)
