General Situation
13 March 2026The westerly trough from Myanmar moves into the North and the western part of the Northeast while another moderate high-pressure system from China extended to the Northeast, the East and the South China Sea. Outbreak of summer storms are possible following with gust, hail and heavy rains including lightning strikes are forecast in the upper Thailand. People in the North beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards including keep healthy due to changeable weather. Farmers should prevent for crop damage and animals danger. The easterly wind prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershower in the South. The winds and waves in the lower Gulf are likely 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should keep off thundershowers.

Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat. Minimum temperature 22-25 °C. Maximum temperature 31-35 °C. Surat Thani upwards : Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards : Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Southern (West Coast)
