The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South while the low-pressure cell over the lower South China Sea move pass the lower Gulf, the lower South and Malaysia with scattered heavy to isolated very heavy rains are in the South. People in the South should beware of heavy to very heavy rains that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the foothills near waterways and lowlands. The rather strong wind forces the waves in the Gulf up to 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Andaman Sea, the waves have 1-2 meters high, above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the Gulf keep ashore. People along the Gulf shore should beware of inshore surges. The rather strong high-pressure system from China extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Morning cool with strong wind in the upper country while 2-4 °C in the Northeast and a decrease in temperature by 1-3 °C in rest regions. On mountaintops of the North and the Northeast cold forecast. People in the areas should keep healthy due to changable weather and be caution due to poor visibility.

Minimum temperature 23-25 °C. Maximum temperature 28-30 °C. Northeasterly winds 20-40 km./hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga, Krabi and Trang. Minimum temperature 23-26 °C. Maximum temperature 27-31 °C. Phangnga upward : Easterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height about 2 meters, above 2 meters in thundershowers and offshore. Phuket downward : Easterly winds 15-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters, above 2 meters in thundershowers and offshore.
