General Situation
19 October 2025The easterly and southeasterly winds prevail over the Gulf, Thailand and the Andaman Sea. Thundershowers are forecast in the upper country while fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains are possible in the South. People in the country especially in the South should beware of thundershower, heavy rains and its accumulation. Avoiding travelling pass the recurring flooding areas. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand are expected about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershower areas. In addition, tropical storm “FENGSHEN” over the east of Philippines is expected to move pass Luzon, the Philippines into the upper South China Sea during 18-20 Oct. This storm is forecast to move near southern Hainan, China and the coast of middle Vietnam during 21-23 Oct while the high-pressure system from China will extend to southern China and upper Vietnam. This storm will not move to Thailand, but will affect on the Northeast of Thailand to be isolated rain and strong winds.

Central
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram, and Samut Sakhon. Minimum temperature 23-26 °C. Maximum temperature 31-35 °C. Easterly winds 10–20 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat. Minimum temperature 24–26 °C. Maximum temperature 32-35 °C. Easterly winds 15–30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23–25 °C. Maximum temperature 29-32 °C. Southeasterly winds 15–30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phuket, Krabi, Trang, and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-26 °C. Maximum temperature 29-32 °C. Easterly winds 15–30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers. Minimum temperature 25-27 °C. Maximum temperature 33–35 °C. Easterly winds 10–20 km/hr.
