General Situation
20 October 2025The easterly wind prevail over the Gulf, Thailand and the Andaman Sea. Isolated heavy rains are in the South while less rain in the upper country. People in the South should beware of thundershower, heavy rains and its accumulation. Avoiding travelling pass the recurring flooding areas. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand are expected about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershower areas. In addition, tropical storm “FENGSHEN” over the upper South China Sea. It is forecasted to intensify and move near the south of Hainan, China and the central coastal of Vietnam during 21-23 Oct. After that, it will downgrade rapidly due to the extending of the high-pressure system from China extend to upper Vietnam and upper South China Sea. This storm is not move to Thailand.

Southern (East Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23–24 °C. Maximum temperature 30-33 °C. Easterly winds 15–30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Phuket, Krabi, Trang, and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-26 °C. Maximum temperature 31-33 °C. Easterly winds 15–30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers. Minimum temperature 25-26 °C. Maximum temperature 33–35 °C. Easterly winds 10–20 km/hr.
