General Situation
29 March 2025The moderate high-pressure system from China extend to the Northeast and the South China Sea while there are hot to very hot weather in the upper country. Outbreaks of summer storms are possible with thunderstorms, gusty wind and hail including lightning strike are likely in some areas of the upper country. People in upper Thailand should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards and keep healthy due to changeable weather. Farmers should prevent for crops damage and animals danger. The southwesterly wind prevails over the Gulf and the South with isolated thundershowers mostly in the lower South. The wind and waves in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea are likely about 1 meter high and above 1 meter high in thundershowers. In addition, during 31 Mar – 3 Apr 2025, the easterly wave will move pass the East, the Gulf and the South into the Andaman Sea with more rains, isolated heavy to very heavy rains and gusty wind

Hot with haze. Scattered thunderstorms with gust and hail in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-27 °C. Maximum temperature 34-38 °C. Easterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-26 °C. Maximum temperature 33-37 °C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-25 °C. Maximum temperature 34-36 °C. Northwesterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
