30 November 2024The rather strong high-pressure system from China covers upper Thailand, the upper South and the South China Sea with cool to cold weather is likely in the Northeast while cool in the morning is likely in the rest regions except the lower South. People in the areas should keep healthy due to changeable weather and beware of fire due to strong winds and dry air. The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South while the low-pressure cell covers the Malacca Strait and Malay Peninsula with isolated heavy to very heavy rains in the lower South lasting 30 November 2024. People in the area should beware of heavy to very heavy rains that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands and people along the Gulf shore should beware of inshore surges. The rather strong wind force the waves in the lower Gulf up to 2-3 meters high and above 3meters high in thundershowers while the waves in the upper Gulf have about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the waves have about 1 meter high, 1-2 meters high offshore and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
