15 August 2025The southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman sea, the South and the Gulf is strengthening with isolated heavy to very heavy rains. The rather strong wind forces the wave in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf up to 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea, the waves are likely about 2 meters high and about 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman sea and the upper Gulf keep ashore.
