Subject: Summer Thunderstorm in the upper Thailand
(Effect during 26-29 April 2025)

During 26–29 Apr 2025, the moderate high-pressure system from China extend to cover Vietnam and the South China Sea leads the confluence of southeasterly and southwesterly winds prevail over the upper country while there are hot to very hot weather. Outbreaks of summer storms are possible following with thunderstorms, gusty wind, hails including lightning strike in the upper country and heavy rains in some areas.
People in the upper country should keep healthy due to changeable weather and beware of heavy rains and severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. Avoiding travelling pass the recurring flooding areas. All transports take more caution during the phenomena. Farmers should prevent for crop damage and animals’ danger.
